Just Like Always..
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..
Recently I wished one of my ex-schoolmate - her birthday. The similarities between me and her is that we both once planned to have our own brand and open up a boutique. Guess what, after I shifted to the boarding school, those plans are like buried somewhere deep inside a hole. It's not that we both completely forget about each other but being me stucked in the boarding school, and she's in the normal school made us some kind of apart from our dreams.
I always knew that she really loves money. *don't get me wrong okay* Since our school days, she really saved up a lot of money to the extend that I can called her 'stingy'. But she really made a good choice and I'm finally proud of her.
She started her own business by online - using a blog at first and that was when we were 16 or 17 (after I shifted to the boarding school). Since now there are a lot of instashop, so she made an account for her own brand too! Her business went on really well and until now I can guarantee that there are a lot of money flowing in. Of course, she do a business on tudungs and blouse which is very trendy lately. After all, I'm very sure that she'll set up her own boutique after she graduates.
When I wished on her 20th birthday, I did mentioned that I'm really proud of what she's doing now and I know that she really enjoys it. I'm so proud until I feel that I haven't achieved anything in my life. At least at the age of 20, she got something to show off to her parents. What about me then?
So I told her to pray for me that I can at least finish write one book by the end of this year so it can be publish by next year. And she said " Don't worry I will always pray for you. I've been waiting for your novel since school!". Oh well, she really knows how much I wanted to be a writer as part of my career.
I was so motivated by what she said that I quickly switched on my laptop and started doing my work. But until today, I still never moved on from the last page I've written :(
Sometimes I almost give up because I have to balance my studies and also my dreams. You see, the thing is what am I studying now is not related to what I really love to do - engineering vs the art of writing. Anyway, if my friend can balance well her business and her studies, why can't I do the same thing?
Just like always, I know I can rely on her and always have her full support. Don't you think so?
p/s: excuse my grammar. it feels like been ages since I last wrote my entry and btw, please follow her instashop account @caseofmisc ;) especially for girls. I think you might be interested as much I'm interested
