My Favourite Authors
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..
Hi guys! Do you have any favourite author? I'm a novel addict. Whenever I go to the bookstore, I would be like crazy and get excited seeing all the new-arrival book shelves. So today as the first entry for 2015, I would like to share a number of my favourite authors who have inspired me by their stories.
1) Jodi Picoult
The #1 New York Times bestseller. Among her novels that I would recommend you guys to read are My Sister's Keeper (adapted to film), Lone Wolf, Plain Truth (also adapted), The Storyteller. The way she wrote her stories, the way she twist the plot and conflicts each of her characters are really thumbs up! The unique is, she always have something different to offer to her fans. Take Lone Wolf for example, it is about animal conservationist who lives with wild wolf pack in a Canadian pack. The fact that character Luke Warren really exists shows that she really do her best for research into developing her story. Her latest novel, Leaving Time has recently published and I can't wait for it to come in to the local bookstores. I couldn't tell you exactly why I love her books so much. But if you really want to find the answer, go buy one of her book and read it. Here is her official website for you to explore more about her.

2) Nicholas Sparks
Well..who doesn't know him? He is one of the world's most beloved storyteller. To name some of his books like Dear John, The Best Of Me, The Notebook, The Last Song and A Walk To Remember. All of his books have been New York Times bestseller. If I'm not mistaken among his seventeen novels, ten of it has been adapted to films which have a cumulative worldwide gross of over three-quarters of a billion dollars! (source: Nicholas Sparks' official website). His seventeenth novel, The Longest Ride will be his tenth film adaptation! Honestly if you ask my friends they will be like "Omg Nicholas Sparks' latest novel out now! I must buy it before it sold out." If you want to know more abut him, please visit his official website given:

3) Khaled Hosseini
Have you watched The Kite Runner? If you haven't, go and watch it now! For your information, The Kite Runner was adapted from the novel of the same name written by Khaled Hosseini; an Afghan-born American novelist. He wrote his first novel in 2001 which is The Kite Runner, while practicing medicine. So he's a physician as well! His debut novel went on to become an international bestseller and sold in at least seventy countries. His second novel published in May 2007, A Thousand Splendid Suns remained for fifteen weeks at #1 New York Times bestseller list. (source: Khaled Hosseini's official website). And his third novel, And the Mountains Echoed was published on May 2013. It is highly recommended for you guys to read The Kite Runner because as you read, you will turn the pages faster and faster to know what's happening next. 4) Cecilia Ahern
Aha! Who doesn't know this Irish novelist? Her first novel, PS I Love You was sold to forty-seven countries and adapted to movie of the same name. Her second novel, Where Rainbow Ends which was adapted for film titled Love, Rosie released in October 2014 starring Lily Collins and Sam Claflin (who watched this??). Her eleventh novel, The Year I Met You was published in October 2014. Her writing style of romantic novel is what I can say most teenagers like to read. Among the other three authors I mentioned above, she's the youngest and yet she managed to have her own fan and of course I'm one of them! Other novels written by her are The Time Of My Life, A Place Called Here, The Book Of Tomorrow and If You Could See Me Now. As usual I will give you guys her official website for you guys to take a look at:

So guys? I know its quite a long post and I don't really know how to do reviews. Basically I wrote what I know about them. I hope someday I will write a book which can inspired other people around the world. And please forgive my grammatical errors. Just to let you guys know, I'm on a mission to collect all their novels so that I can create my own 'mini library'.
Love,
Afifah Suhaimi
